At L&L Academy and Preschool, we consider every opportunity a learning opportunity. Knowing and understanding that children tend to learn best when they are enjoying an activity, we turn activities into something educational. We will give your children the tools to begin reading, and writing, and confidence for the first day of Kindergarten. Your child can do so much only if he/she is exposed to the right environment. We spend the time that your child is under our care ingraining those values, so your child can be ahead of their peers as they pursue Elementary Education. We strive to be the best preschool in Chicago!
GENERAL INFORMATION
Welcome to our Infant and Toddler Center! This center focuses on infants starting as young as 6 weeks and ranging up to 24 months. This facility includes one infant classroom and one toddler classroom.
Our Mission
The goal of this center is to give parents peace of mind that their child is getting the personal care that each child needs at this age. Our center provides daily reports, pictures, and a planned curriculum. It is important that care is tailored to each child’s need in order to help your child navigate through his or her first years of life. Our infant & toddler centers require each lead teacher to either be director qualified and/or possess Masters in Early Childhood education. Lead teachers are required to take additional certifications. Our goal is to ease your mind as you settle into parenthood.
Safe and Secure
This is an exciting time for your family! We know when looking for child care, it is important for you to feel comfortable with where your precious one spends his or her time. In our center, we will embrace the natural curiosity and imagination of children to inspire within them a lifelong excitement to learn. We will provide an extension of a child’s own home while promoting interactions with peers and adults. Your child will encounter many activities that will build his/her social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills while helping him/her bring out their creative imagination as well.
